When we were first introduced to a Brazilian Grill we were served grilled pineapple and loved it! We now have made grilling pineapple a regular treat for many occasions! It is a great dessert for any grilled meal.
Ingredients
1 pineapple
½ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Pre-heat the grill to Medium – about 400 degrees
Cut the outer covering off of the pineapple, then cut the pineapple right down the middle from top to bottom
Cut each half now from top to bottom creating four pieces
Remove the hard core center from each of the four pieces
Now cut into serving-size pieces
Put the brown sugar and cinnamon in the zip lock bag and shake it to combine the ingredients
Put one slice of the pineapple at a time in the bag and cover it with the sugar mixture then put it on a plate
After all of the pieces have been coated, just take them to the grill and place them on the rack
Let each side grill for about 5 minutes until that perfect golden-brown is found
